The theme weeks were Lace Bobbins, Mushrooms, YoYo and Involuted Turning.

As always there were also a wide variety of other pieces brought for display.

Mushrooms - a great deal of artistic and flair and skill was demonstrated - large and small mushrooms, miniature clumps, and a lawn full… some highly coloured and others showing off the wood itself.

Stuart created a Ring Box box, showed techniques for texturing, making finials, and turned flowers to create lids for it. He created a Kokeshi doll plus a flower bud with petals and a Chess King.

Shown were - "Basket", Japanese Inro, Art vase form, fob watches, a clock, pet urns, boxes with inlays, a bloated mouse in cheese and a colourful plate.

The theme was well supported with conventional pen and pencil style desk tidies plus many other items - clocks, bowls etc all useful to organise desk clutter.

A tropical seas display, feeding chickens, a box with photo inlay, bird 'finials', plain bows, decorated bowls and thin section bowls, a Pomander, plus demos by Roy Boulton.

Many members brought pieces for display. Allen Atkins & Mark Wardle demonstrated deep hollow forms with narrow necks - Mark using home made tools. Roy demonstrated texturings and "boxes".

The theme was to create a Lace Bobbin and there were many examples of intricate turning. Square rimmed bowls were demonstrated. A wide selection of other pieces were shown.

Six yo-yos were presented but none were demonstrated - a forgotten skill. A wide variety of other pieces were shown - bowls, pott-pourri, egg, puzzles, and a device for making paper seeding pots.

A variety of pieces - Hollow Form/Gourds, Candle Holders, an Owl, Block and Gavel, Key Rings, a Top, Bowls, Bud Vases, inlay work for Boxes and a long stemmed goblet shown or demonstrated.

Members showed pieces created since the last Members Day. Bill Foster demonstrated flower making. David Millen demonstrated and gave tuition on Air Brushing. Roy demonstrated deep form turning.

Nick demonstrated making two thin walled bowls. Using piercing tools, the second bowl was decorated with a wavy edge and patterns. Spindle turning and finishing techniques were also demonstrated.
