Bill Foster showed how turned shapes are the basis for his floral, bird and insect arrangements. Members demonstrated more colouring techniques, pewter work, and work with oriental and other design transfers.
Demos by professionals Simon Hope, John Berkeley and Andy Lodge. Simon showed leather inlays and the casting and turning of a pewter rim for a box. John worked alternative materials, showed hand patterning and making puzzle boxes. Andy demonstrated a cabriole leg, inlay work with "finger-nail pictures" and using curves and shapes for optical illusions.
Members brought work for the Fun Day and also many items for the theme days - Bowls, Candlesticks, Goblets, Clocks, Keyrings, and Lightpulls.
