400 - Turning Club - Involuted Turning theme

Christine Greaves and John Rowland brought Involuted Turning pieces based upon the Rectangular format of last weeks example.

Allen Atkins, Colin Brown and Debbie Piggott went a stage further and shaped the rectangular form - Allen created a table lamp with spiral centre and Colin a form with a flower in the centre.

Tino DeJesus created Thin Walled Hollow Forms with a very narrow neck.

Many other attractive pieces were shown as can be seen in the Gallery.

Roy Boulton demonstrated turning a Platter plus a 12inch tall Goblet; meanwhile Allen Atkins demonstrated turning a Keyring and an Apple.

Next week is a Members Day - an exhibition of work produced since the last members day.
