Woods used included - Sycamore, Oak, Cherry, Japanese Maple and Lime.

A competition for a Seasonal figure includes both Christmas theme figures and snowmen. Other pieces shown included large pears and apples plus vase forms, pyrography, and dishes and bowls.

Graham Jones demo'd turning the parts for a Chess Pawn themed puzzle.

Allen Atkins turned pieces in Cherry and a dish in Oak.
