Turning Club - 17 Nov 2018.

Woods used included - Oak, Cherry, Sycamore, Mahonia, Walnut and American Walnut, Ash, and pewter.

Several pieces were brought and shown including - a decorative Christmas piece; heavy natural edged bowls in Oak; a display piece with bird on an apple which also contains a clock; lidded boxes in Sycamore and in Walnut; and a long stemmed goblet in Walnut and American Walnut - this showed a barley twist stem in Walnut and Mahonia.

Graham Jones and Roy Boulton both gave demonstrations of techniques for new turners.
