Items shown included black and gild four cornered dish and lidded form, other lidded forms, several bowls, a large elm burr plate/dish. Natural woods seen included walnut, bubinga, acacia, ash, beech, yew and ebony/African blackwood.

Roy Boulton demonstrated turning a dish with knurling plus a hollow form.

Meanwhile Allen Atkins demonstrated turning a dish, a hollow form and an appletall three piece pedestal dish and, at the other extreme, a goblet about 25mm tall.

The challenge this week is to create a 'Globe' piece based upon Roy's sample.
