Today's woods used included... Lacewood, Rosewood, Acacia, Sycamore, Ash, African Blackwood, Walnut and Yew.

The collection of items produced by Stuart King at his demo on 8th March is shown.

Pieces brought today by members included - an Ash gold gilded black vase and apple, a box with finial in African Blackwood, a vase form in Acacia, a hat in Lacewood with hat band inRosewood band, a bowl in Sycamore, pot/vase in Walnut, a pot-pourri in Pine, flowers, a desk display in Yew - with flowers, pendants & broaches, animals from lathe, a pen, a bird in Sycamore and African Blackwood, Kokeshi dolls, figurine and coloured bowl.

Members, several visitors and prospective members watched demos by Roy Boulton and Allen Atkins.
