Today's woods used included... cherry, elm, birch, oak, apple, iroko, purple heart and bubinga.

Pieces brought today by members included - a cherry table lamp, dishes in spalted beech, a vase form in birch and a dish in ash - with natural edges, a spalted apple, an acrylic keyring, lidded boxes in iroko and bubinga, a lidded bowl in elm? and purple heart, miniature Koreshi dolls and examples of texturing and colouring.

Members, several visitors and prospective members watched demos by Roy Boulton and Allen Atkins who produced boxes with threading, vase forms and dishes ...
