Turning Club - 12/Apr/2014

Tony Wilson demo day. Tony fells and prepares much of his own timber. He advised and demonstrated techniques for drying wood, and for rough turning pieces which will be completed over an extended period.

Tony also demo'd techniques for turning large and unbalanced pieces of wet wood. He created a large (16in diam) plate/dish in ash and a large mushroom stool in ash plus large and standard sized apples in smaller pieces in Turkey Oak and in Golden Leylandii.
