Visiting professional turner Mark Hancock demonstrated techniques to create a long stemmed goblet in Holly. He then showed the techniques for preparing the stem and for bending it using a timber heating iron. He showed many examples of these techniques.

Mark then demonstrated turning an oak shaped hollow vessel form with three feet. Techniques included ebonising, scraping and colouring.
