Turning Club - 12/Oct/2013 - Tracy Owen demo
Tracy demonstrated turning a thin form dish in figured sycamore, mounted on a textured base.
He then created a four cornered dish in Yew, which had a wavy form edge, mounted on a short base.
Two forms were created - these were decorated with a square ended and pointed Sorby like texturing tools. (The Video Links tab includes a demo of this tool.)
These were followed by a thin stemmed natural edged goblet in yew.
Finally he created a lidded box with finial in Yew.
